You Yoga Class Descriptions

Seasonal Flow Yoga - A class aimed at all levels, Seasonal Flow synchronises the breath as you flow from pose to pose. Postures are related to the changing seasons, with emphasis placed on energising organs and meridians. This class is particularly good for improving muscle tone and flexibility and will give students a feeling of health and wellbeing coupled with an improved body confidence.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga - Vinyasa, which means breath-synchronised movement tends to be a dynamic and energetic practice. Classes typically begin with a number of sun salutations to warm up the body, followed by a flowing series of postures (which may include); standing balances, twists, backbends, abdominal core work, hip openers, arm balances and inversions. The flow series is particularly good at improving upper body strength and stamina and improving muscle tone and flexibility. Modifications and options are provided throughout the class for all levels and abilities.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are ideal for those with busy lives, those that want to learn quickly as a beginner and those that want to deepen an already strong practice. I offer 75 minute private lessons , during which I can take into consideration your personal health and fitness levels, including any injuries you have (or have previously suffered). From there we can establish and set your intentions for your own personal practice. Contact me and we can arrange a lesson to suit you, either in my purpose built studio or in the comfort of your own home.

Sports Yoga Workshops

This workshop is suitable for short and long distance runners and those who run as part of their sport e.g (football, rugby).

Expect a fun, challenging and energising Vinyasa style yoga practice beginning with a •dynamic sequence designed to be performed pre-run as a warm up• moving into sun salutations which link strength-building exercises and yoga poses targeting muscle groups specific to running • finishing with a post-run sequence designed to future proof your performance and keep you running injury free.

•Places are limited, please book early to secure your mat•

All equipment is provided and you will leave the workshop with a short, easy to follow manual so you can continue your practice at home.
